"Oh My God, I Love That Song!"

Have you ever been listening to a song that you haven't heard in awhile and it took you back to a life experience - the song your mom used to sing to you in the car, a first boyfriend or girlfriend, your first kiss, the first time your heart was broken, a fun time with your friends, a vacation, your wedding day?  You hear yourself saying, "Oh My God, I Love That Song!"  These are the songs that you may have forgotten.  Fortunately, they didn't go away.  They are the very songs Bill Foley specializes in performing.

Through the year's, Bill Foley has heard hundreds of people say, "Oh my God, I love that song" when he is playing.    Usually, folks don't know that he can hear them.  Sometimes, it is a whisper to the person next to them, "Oh my God, I love that song."  Other times, it is an enthusiastic, "Oh My God, I Love That Song!"  Or maybe, it is something in between.

Bill performs the best music of the 50s, 60s and 70s, including early rock and roll favorites, "One Hit Wonders," folk and all of the best from the singer/songwriters.  Whether you are at a Bill Foley, Bill Foley Trio or a Bill Foley Band show, you will know these songs; all led by the acoustic guitar up front.  In fact, your 10 year old will think these are modern classics because so many have been redone by the likes of Sheryl Crow ("The First Cut is the Deepest"), Pearl Jam ("The Last Kiss"), Uncle Cracker ("Drift Away"), Jordin Sparks ("To Love Somebody"), Michael Bolton ("Dock of the Bay"), Jimmy Buffet ("Brown Eyed Girl"), Madonna ("American Pie"), and N'Sync ("Everything I Own.")

You will even hear these songs in current commercials selling such products as Chase Bank ("Knock on Wood" originally done by Eddie Floyd), Jeep (Jonathan Edwards' "Sunshine Go Away"), Macy's ("Come On, Let's Go" by Ritchie Valens and "Everyday" by Buddy Holly), Clairol Nice and Easy (Buddy Holly's "Not Fade Away"), Hampton Inn (The Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends"), Raisin Bran Crunch (John Denver's "Sunshine on My Shoulders"), Kohl's-Vera Wang (America's "A Horse With No Name") and Sea Bond Denture Cream ("Bye, Bye Love" by The Everly Brothers.)  These are the songs that live on!

Available for weddings/wedding receptions, corporate events, concerts, fairs, festivals, clubs and restaurants, each show is unique.  There is never a set song list.  Each performance is tailored to the audience and the audience reaction that day!  If you need soft background music, a fun interactive trivia show or an exciting rock and roll concert, Bill can meet your needs.

Performing since 1980, Bill is a full time musician who tours nationally.  CDs can also be provided during music breaks and he can emcee your entire event.
